Annually, on the third Thursday in April, the District provides a tour of its pumping plants and importation facilities. The tour is available to participants 18 years of age and older and is provided free of charge. Space is limited, so a reservation is required.

Due to popular demand, the 2026 Pump Plant Tour was extended to two days (Thursday, April 16th and Friday, April 17th).
